FindLove Child Safety Standards

Website: https://findlove.lk

These Child Safety Standards explain how FindLove prevents and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to the FindLove website at findlove.lk and to the FindLove apps for Android and iOS. They form part of our Terms and Conditions, which every member accepts, and they sit alongside our Privacy Policy.

FindLove has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We remove it when we become aware of it, we ban the accounts involved, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

01

Who operates FindLove

FindLove is currently operated by Mohamed Ziyan Junaideen, an individual based in Sri Lanka. Our contact for child safety matters is legal@findlove.lk.

02

FindLove is for adults only

FindLove is a matchmaking service for adults aged 18 and older. People under 18 may not create an account, appear in a profile, or use messaging, even with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Everyone who registers must give a date of birth showing they are at least 18 and confirm that they are an adult. We may ask for age or identity evidence through optional identity verification, and we may suspend an account whose age cannot be established. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it from the Service.

03

What we prohibit

You must not use FindLove to harm a child or to sexualise children in any way. In particular, you must not:

  • Create, upload, share, request, link to, or advertise child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This means any photograph, video, drawing, text, or computer-generated or AI-generated content that depicts or describes a person under 18 in a sexual way.
  • Groom a child: build a relationship or trust with a person under 18, or with their parent or carer, with the aim of sexual contact or exploitation, whether online or offline.
  • Commit sextortion: threaten, pressure, or blackmail anyone, including a child, to obtain sexual images, money, or further contact.
  • Traffic, sell, or exploit a child, or arrange or advertise the sexual exploitation of a child, including for money or other benefit.
  • Contact or attempt to contact a person you know or suspect is under 18 for a romantic or sexual purpose, or use FindLove to arrange meeting a child.
  • Present a child as available for marriage, a relationship, or sexual contact, including through a profile, photograph, or message.
  • Sexualise children in comments, messages, or profile content, including through jokes or role-play, or use FindLove to share or seek information that facilitates child sexual abuse.
  • Register or use FindLove if you are under 18, or help someone under 18 to do so.

These rules apply to everything on FindLove: profiles, photographs, profile text, and private messages. Breaking them leads to permanent removal from the Service.

How to report a concern

If you see anything on FindLove that might involve child sexual abuse or exploitation, or a member who appears to be under 18, please tell us straight away:

  • On a profile, on the website or in the app: choose Report and select the Child safety reason.
  • In a conversation, on the website or in the app: choose Report at the top of the conversation and select the Child safety reason.
  • By email: write to legal@findlove.lk. You can do this without signing in or installing the app, and the app's Profile screen links to this address. Describe where the problem is, such as the member's profile name and roughly when you saw it.

Please do not download, screenshot, copy, or forward images that may show the sexual abuse of a child, even to report them, because doing so can be a crime. Tell us where the material is and we will find it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services where you are first. FindLove cannot send help, and a report to us is not an emergency service.

05

What we do when we become aware

Child safety reports are reviewed by an authorised member of our team rather than by an automated system. For a report made from a conversation, that review includes the conversation's recent messages. When we become aware of content or behaviour that breaks these standards, we act as quickly as we can and, depending on what we find:

  • Remove the content, for example by deleting a photograph, so other members can no longer see it.
  • Ban the profile, which hides it from discovery and stops it messaging or sending requests.
  • Ban the account, which blocks sign-in and revokes its website and app sessions.
  • Delete the account of anyone who has abused or exploited a child through FindLove, which removes their photographs and their messages from every conversation they took part in.
  • Remove any account that belongs to someone under 18.
  • Preserve information only where the law requires or permits us to keep it for an investigation, and restrict access to it.
  • Report to law enforcement or child protection authorities where applicable law requires it, and respond to lawful requests from those authorities.

We do not tell the reported member who made a report. Accounts banned for child sexual abuse or exploitation may not return to FindLove.

06

How we prevent harm

  • Registration is limited to adults and requires a date of birth showing that the person is at least 18.
  • Members can upload a small number of profile photographs. The chat function does not support uploading new photographs or files as message attachments.
  • Our team reviews reported profiles, photographs and conversations. We do not currently automatically scan every photograph or message, so reports from members are an important part of keeping FindLove safe.
  • Our Terms and Conditions prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation, and every member accepts them.
07

Law enforcement

Law enforcement and child protection authorities can contact us at legal@findlove.lk. We assess the legal basis of each request and provide information as permitted or required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

08

Changes to these standards

We review these standards as FindLove and the law change. Each version is published with its date at a permanent address, and this page always shows the current version.
